Mr. David M Khanis an internationally experienced engineer specializing in Water Resources Management and modelling including planning, analysis and design of storm water management systems. He has 20 years of experience in the design and implementation of important water infrastructure projects.  Mr. Khan worked as the Project Coordinator in several multi-disciplinary projects which involved engineers, planners, economists, sociologists and more. He worked in diverse projects which include developing Long Term Control Plans (LTCP) to manage storm water of big cities of USA, providing expert opinion regarding impact on flooding after development works, preparing Master Plans for major cities as well as rural communities of Bangladesh, planning and designing Regional Stormwater Management systems of Kuwait to name a few. Mr. Khan is also involved with research projects which focus on developing new methods to address current issues like climate change and urbanization. He gives presentations in International Conferences through which he has several publications. He gave key note lecture in UDM 2012 conference held in Belgrade, Serbia.  His experience covers both working in developing country like Bangladesh and developed country like the USA, Canada, UAE, and Kuwait. Mr. Khan completed his Master of Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University (USA) in and previously he completed his Bachelor in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). He is a licensed professional engineer with the State of Texas, USA and also a Certified Floodplain Manager of ASFPM.
